Here’s a little video I made on my way to Lincoln Nebraska for the Top Affiliate Challenge that will start tomorrow. At first, I thought I was going to be flying for half a day because the ticket information said I would fly out at 11:30AM and get to Nebraska but 7:00PM. However, I forgot there was a two hour time zone difference between Vancouver and Nebraska.
The flights were pretty uneventful except for the landing. The Midwest seems to have some very high winds that makes for quite a bumpy take off and landing. However, once you’re at cruising attitude, everything was very smooth.
My impression of Nebraska so far is, it’s very flat and there sure is a lot of corn. I’m waiting to come across my first cow. I’m sure I can get a funny video out of that.

Guess Who’s Back!
G’day money making fans, a big hello from your favorite copycowcat down under!
After a three month, blog-free sabbatical, I figured it was time to get back into the game, and what can be better to revive a blogging career then starting out as a new staff member for John Chow himself?!
I was quite excited when John asked me to start writing for him once I got all my stuff organized after the big move from Europe to Australia. As a lot of you might know, in a pasture land, far far away, I once ran a popular johnchow.com parody blog. Unfortunately I am legally not at liberty to go into any detail, but I’m sure you’ll figure it out sooner or later 
First Post Since I Left The Barn
Anyhoo, as this is my first post in months, I have gotten a little rusty so bare with me. John basically gave me complete freedom regarding to the topics I will write about. I’d like you boys and girls to help me out here and propose stuff you’d like me to cover.
It doesn’t matter who you are, we’ve all got to start somewhere when it comes to making money online. John has been at it since the last millennium and because of all the experience he’s had, his blog is now generating a monthly average of $32,000 per month! Now I’m fairly new compared to John, having only blogged for about 18 months, but starting from scratch, with zero knowhow, within that time I have made an amount which lies in the high $xx.xxx region. Fair enough, it did involve blog sales, but that’s all part of the money making business. Having learned and earned a lot, I’d love to share my experience with you guys, the John Chow fanclub!
Suggest a Topic and Get a Plug
Whomever leaves the most interesting topic ideas in the comments will get mentioned in my next post, so you’d better actually read this post and not just comment with crap like “Great post John!”, since I’m not John

The Top Affiliate challenge doesn’t officially start until Monday but already I fired off the first shot at Shoemoney. Each team is given their own blog for the show. The producer made the login password the same for every team. No doubt he assume we would change it, and I did. However, Shoemoney didn’t. Being as evil as I am, you can no doubt guess where this story is going.
If you check Shoemoney’s team blog, you’ll see a post that we assume was written by Shoemoney call Team XY7 for The Win!
OK, let’s face it. John Chow and Team XY7 is too strong. They got this thing in the bag. I don’t even know why I should bother to try and beat them.
We give up. Give the money to John Chow and Team XY7 now.

It seem like only yesterday that I came back from my month long trip to Asa. Now, I’m off again! This time I’m heading to Lincoln Nebraska for the Top Affiliate Challenge. I will be heading up Team XY7 and leading four contestants in a quest to find out who will be the top affiliate.
The first episode will air on July 1 at 1PM CST. However, you maybe able to get some advance information and insider tips at our team blog. I am looking forward to seeing who my team members will be.
I’m going to need a lot of help from you guys if I’m to defeat Team Tool Barn, lead by Shoemoney and Team Pepperjam, lead by Ken McArthur. Make sure you tune in and cheer us on! Not only is this show going to be fun to watch but you’ll learn a great deal about what it takes to make serious money with affiliate marketing.

The staff is friendly, the service is great and the food is even greater.
Diners at West can choose from a normal three course dinner menu or do what we did and order the eight course tasting menu that will explode every sense in your body. Dinner for four came to $700 with tax, tips and drinks. That should knock some sense back into you!
The Eight Course Tasting Menu
Amuse Bouche. This is a starter dish to prepare the taste bubs for the culinary assault that is about to come. It’s made from tuna and very refreshing.
Tian of Duggeness crab and couscous, smoke tomato gazpacho. Light, refreshing and airy is the best way to describe this dish.
Foie Gras Terrine. I was a little disappointed that the chef made a terrine instead of the traditional pan seared Foie Gras. As terrines goes, this was one of the best I’ve tasted.
Fresh seared Qualicum Bay scallops with buttered lentils and pineau des charentes. This was a stand out dish.
Supreme of spring salmon, petits pois a la francaise and tomato fondue. Perfectly cooked with just the right firmness.
Veal tenderloin and sweetbreads with roasted peaches and mint polenta. The veal was so tender you could cut it with a fork.
A selection of cheeses from Quebec and France. My favorite was the Blue Cheese on the right.
Chocolate praline mille-feuille with espresso cream pistachio chocolate swirl ice cream. A great way to end a three hour meal.

Twitterfeed is a cool little add on for Twitter that will check your RSS feed for new blog posts. If it finds one, it will send out a tweet to all your followers. It’s a neat way to add your blog RSS to Twitter.
Twitterfeed has options to to let you adjust how often it should check your feed and how many new updates to post each time. There’s also an option to adjust how the tweets are displayed. You can prefix each tweet with whatever you want, as long as it’s not longer than 20 characters. I use “New blog post.”
Requires OpenID, Which You May Already Have
To use Twitterfeed, you will need an OpenID. The cool thing about that is you may already have an OpenID and not know it. If you have an account at AOL, Blogger, Technorati or any other OpenID members, you can log in using any of those accounts.
Setting up the Twitterfeed takes only a minute. All you need to do is enter the URL to your RSS feed and set the options. The rest is automatic. Twitterfeed is ideal for timestamped posts or when you’re away from the computer. Once a post goes live, Twitterfeed will tell your followers about it.
Because Twitterfeed checks your RSS for updates, I was wondering if my RSS counter would increase by the number of Twitter followers I have. I have over 1,300 followers (follow me if you haven’t yet). The answer is no. However, Twitterfeed will increase your RSS counter by one.
Don’t Be A Twitter Whore
I’ve stated many times that Twitter can be a great marketing tool or it can be a great time waster. In reality, it’s both. I use Twitter as a research and marketing tool. I don’t use it like the Twitter Whore in this video.

BRITAIN’S Got Talent winner George Sampson has signed a £1million deal with NatWest.
The breakdancing sensation will promote the bank’s products aimed at teenagers.
He will take part in TV adverts, his face will appear on five debit cards and he will also design another.
George, 14, said: “It’s absolutely mint. I hope NatWest have enough cards — for all the girls, especially.”
His first ad is likely to include the famous Singing In The Rain routine that won him Britain’s Got Talent.
A source said: “George has been given a lump sum by NatWest which is already enough to change his life.
“If it all works out it will be worth more than £1million. He is also in talks with fashion labels. Things look great.”
Richard Taylor, NatWest brand director, said: “George is incredibly popular among the 11 to 18-year-olds.”
George, of Warrington, Cheshire, will perform at December’s Royal Variety Performance.
Last year’s winner, opera singer Paul Potts, is having a film made about his life by Paramount Pictures.
